Nicole Whatley, Esq.

Nicole is a Sacramento native. Being born and raised in the area, she has many close ties to the community. After attending California State University, Sacramento and receiving her B.S. in Criminal Justice with a minor in Government, Nicole attended law school in sunny southern California at the University of San Diego School of Law. Shortly after graduating in 2013, Nicole moved back up to the Sacramento area to pursue law in her hometown. She has practiced medical malpractice defense in the area since 2014.

Nicole’s practice is rooted in fairness; she is passionate about due process and a fair judicial system for all defendants, both criminally and civilly. Additionally, Nicole is enthusiastic about environmental causes. She supports finding ways to take better care of our planet as well as all of the non-human creatures with whom we share this space.

Based on the above, it isn’t hard to believe that some of Nicole’s biggest interests are true crime and dogs. When she isn’t spending time with her two rescue pups or learning about true crime, she can likely be found at a local Crossfit class.
