Emily is originally from Northern California and grew up in Chico. Emily attended University of California Santa Barbara earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Law and Society. Emily then went on to attend law school at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York with concentrations in civil litigation and constitutional law and rights.
As part of the labor and employment law clinic at her law school, Emily interned at a preeminent employment law firm in New York City and represented clients in unemployment insurance hearings.
Prior to joining Pollara Law Group, Emily was an associate in the Civil Litigation Department of Mastagni Holstedt, A.P.C. Her practice focused on all aspects of civil litigation. Prior to becoming a licensed attorney, Emily worked as a paralegal for over five years for civil litigation firms in a wide range of practice areas including civil, employment, family, criminal and property law.
Emily is a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association, the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada, and Women Lawyers of Sacramento.
Emily is passionate about constitutional rights and advocating for social equality. Additionally, she is committed to providing exceptional client service.
For the past six years, Emily has volunteered with Northern Valley Catholic Social Services of Butte County’s CASA program as a Court Appointment Special Advocate. As a CASA, Emily advocates for the educational, medical and emotional well-being of a child in foster care.
In her free time, Emily enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with her friends and family.
